15th July 2007, Silport Summer Membership Invitational tee off at east and center course. The enrolling number has come to 180,while only 140 can have the chance to participate for the quota. The valuable award ¨Cthe BMW series 3 car was provided as the hole-in-one prize. Also lots of quality sponsors make the competition more challengeable.
The membership invitational in 2007 is extraordinary, for the event is in July ¨C the seventh month of 2007; the Volvo China Open come back to Silport for the 7th time, Silport¡¯ sister course Carnoustie host the British Open for the seventh time too, so for the lucky 7, Silport try to be unique to make the ¡°7 clubs ¡± regulation, that is the players can only take 7 clubs to finish the event, and in the No.7 hole of east and center course, they can only use the No.7 Iron and the putter. The prizes are also match the rule with ¡°Lucky 7¡± and ¡°the least par in No.7¡±.
After the fierce but extraordinary interesting competition, the best Gross is KIM SUNG BAK; the Net Champion winner is Yang Fanglin. There is also Net Champion for golf lady, the winner is Marty Yang.
The dinner buffet is over in the applause of the members matches with the harmonious melody, every one hope to get together in the next invitational.
