Shanghai: Wet weather proved little detriment to the enthusiasm for the Silport Autumn Membership Invitational as the popular event where members can invite their guests attracted 93 players.

Mr. Sun Zhonghua, an 8.4 handicap, shot a round of 80, for a nett 71.6 to win the nett champion prize, just ahead of Chinese compatriots Su Gengxian and Cao Peiling. Ms Chen Jing was the ladies nett champion with a nett 70.8.
Other honors saw Ms Bi Fengxian and Xu Weibiao each claim a long drive prize with blasts of 255 yards and 270 yards, respectively, while Mrs Zheng won a nearest-the-pin award when she put her tee shot just over one foot from the flag on the West Course No. 2 hole. Yang Boxing won the other nearest-the-pin prize on the North No. 3 hole.

Lucky 7 prizes were won by Huang Hui, Bi Fengxian, Mr Imabeppu, Zhou Zhongming, Yang Boxing and Mrs Zheng, while 27 people were successful in the lucky draw. Everybody else went away with a gift at the end party courtesy of Baodao Optical.
