Shanghai: Four clubs proved more than enough for He Xiao Hua at the Silport May Monthly Medal as the 10 handicapper celebrated his birthday in winning fashion.

With the rules stipulating players only use four clubs during their round, He emerged the group champion of Group A (handicaps 1-18) after carding an impressive 79 over the East and Center course layouts. His nett 69 was even with Yang Fang Lin (84) who was relegated to runner-up because of He’s lower handicap. Forty players were in the field.
Takabayashi Hirokazu will join He in the year-end Grand Final as the Japanese member topped Group B (handicaps 19 and above) for a gross 89 and a nett 69. Countryman Toba Hidenori (92) was runner-up with a nett 73.
Tu Ye Hong Yi had the hot hand going out on the East Course as he carded a low-nine score of 37. Lee Zhongman (38) was the low man on the inward Center Course.

As its title implies, the monthly medal is a competition strictly for Silport members. All members are welcome to participate in this fun and competitive situation that will determine the club’s second champion when the Grand Final is held in December.
