 Hae Hahn celebrated her 40th wedding anniversary in memorable fashion at the September Monthly Medal when she secured her spot for the Grand Final in December to determine SilportĄ¯s second club champion. She carded a 98 over the North and West course configuration to emerge the Nett Champion for Group B. Harada Yukio finished runner-up when the Japanese shot a 94 for a nett 73.
Others honored on the day included Cho Whan Il who shot an impressive round of three-over 75 for a nett 68 and the Group A nett champion title. Wu Zhongfang also had a nett 68 but finished runner-up by virtue of his higher handicap.
Lu Xueyuan claimed the nearest-the-pin prize when he put his tee shot to within 1.5-yard of the flag on the North Course eighth hole, while Tu Ye Wei Lin unleashed a 225-yard blast for the longest drive on the West Course ninth hole.
At the prize presentation afterwards for the tournamentĄ¯s 40 participants, the Hahn celebrated their ruby anniversary with wedding cake and red wine.
