 After months of competition and the completion of the November monthly medal, the field is now set for the December Grand Final to determine Silport¡¯s second club champion.
If the November result is any indication to go on, the competition for next month¡¯s finale will be intense as Hung Kuo-chin booked himself a spot in the field by virtue of his Group A nett champion title. The six handicap shot an impressive round of 74 over the East and Center courses to top the 40-man field on a sunny but overcast day.
Johnny Chen also qualified with his runner-up finish after a 76, and added the longest drive to his haul with a mighty blast on the Center Course ninth hole.
Joining them will be Huang de You who won the Group B nett champion title with a nett 68 following a round of 87, and runner-up Xu Yaohuang with a nett 69. Donald Du also gets in the field after his name was drawn in the lucky draw.
Also among the winners was Wang Jian who claimed the nearest-the-pin on the East Course third hole.
