 Silport January Monthly Medal, the first competition after the Christmas Day and the New Year, the combination of the two proved to be a strong draw as 52 members came out to contest the year¡¯s first Monthly Medal.
Cold but sunny day made everyone exited and prepared rat race .With many of the players competing for the first time this year, WANG YA JUN showed no rust to his game with the Gross 84 over the East and Center courses for a nett 72 and the Nett Champion Group A (handicaps 12-17) honor. ZHOU DIAN QIANG also from Group A was the runner-up with the nett 74. The long-drive prize came to HUNG JUI TENG, QIAN JINGHONG got the Nearest to the pin winner both from Group A.
In Group B (handicaps 19 and above), ZHOU JUN YOU with the 21 handicap shot 86 for a nett 65 to claimed the group first honor and followed by Japanese member KITA with the close nett 66 and handicap 22.
Lucky Tree during the dinner party enhanced the Lucky around the whole year, with red packets on the tree and the lucky name was pulled from the draw, but the big winner was the member who seated on the left hand of him. Big Surprise came to CHEN QING LONG from Foxconn Group.
WANG YA JUN and ZHOU DIAN QIANG from Group A , ZHOU JUN YOU and KITA from Group B have all qualified for December¡¯s Grand Monthly Medal to determine the 2011 Silport club champion. Also qualifying is CHEN QING LONG under the lucky tree rule.
The monthly medal is a competition strictly for Silport members. All club members are welcome to participate in this event designed to bring players together in a competitive situation.
