 Silport August Monthly Medal was held on August 6 and the tropical storm ˇ°Muifaˇ± visited Shanghai and brought the cool air for the hottest day in Southeast of China.
Playing over the North and West courses,Japanese member Mr.OZAWA KENJI emerged the net champion of Group A (handicaps one to 18) as the 10 handicap carded a round of 81 for a net 71. Mr.HWANG YOUNG HO finished runner-up after the 15 handicap shot 87 for a net 72.
The honor for the Group B (handicaps 19 and above) Mr.FUKUZAWA KEISUKE also from Japan with a 22 handicap, shot a 91 for a winning score of net 69. Runner-up Mr. ANDY FANG with a same 22 handicap with the champiom, shot a 93 for a winning score of net 71. Mr. HSU FENG HSIEH called the nearest-the-pin prize winner after putting his tee shot to within 1.8 feet of the flag. Mr. JANG SOO CHUL won the strong LD prize when he blasted his tee shot about 250 yards down the fairway.
At the party afterwards,the big lucky round made all the members feel amazing , the lucky winners were either the drawers themselves or the friends seated on their left. And the big lucky prize business class air ticket from Shanghai to Japan had been taken by the member RINGO CHIU who made his first participation of the medal.
