Shanghai: Dutch investment banker ING and business publication Oriental Enterpriser Monthly made the most of the Private Enterprise Development Forum being held in Shanghai when they hosted a golf tournament for 56 of its delegates.

Guan Guoran, chief executive officer of INGĄ¯s private banking division, welcomed the players to Silport in a pre-tournament speech, wishing the field made up of senior executives and scholars success on the clubĄ¯s Championship layout.

Zhang Ruichang showed luck was on his side when he claimed the low nett honor. The 28.8 handicap shot 101 to finish with a nett score of 72.2. Six handicap Zen Guorong shot a respectable seven-over-par 79 to finish runner-up while Li Jie, an 8.4 handicap, was second runner-up after a round of 10-over 82.

In the team category, Shanghai Taiwanese Golf Team finished first overall, followed by Suzhou Taiwanese and the China Europe International Business School.

Following their round, Yang Zhenyu, president of Oriental Enterpriser Monthly, presented the winners with their trophies at a gala dinner.
