Students of Tongji University Golf EMBA program took a break from the classroom with a three-day workshop at Silport. Club owner Beta Soong, an honorary professor at the university, lectured the visitors on tournament organization, Volvo China Open event analysis and the development of Tiger Beach Golf Links. Soong called the advent of such a program necessary for the development of golf in China as more qualified business professionals were needed to help the industry grow at a moderate and healthy rate.
