Shanghai: Baosteel and their invited guests took time out from their busy schedules to compete in the Second Baosteel Mineral Cup Golf Invitational staged on a sunny but extremely cold day at Silport
With a field of 37 players made up of Baosteel executives, top clients and suppliers of the country¡¯s largest producer of iron and steel, from China, Japan and South Korea, Asia¡¯s top three steel producing countries, Ding Shouhu, the deputy sourcing manager for the Mineral Dept of Baosteel Corp, captured the low gross honor. Zhao Kun, Baosteel¡¯s deputy general manager, was runner up, followed by Cao Zhineng.
In the nett category, Zhang Enbo emerged as the nett champion, followed by runner-up Guan Shurong and a Mr Kusubashi.
Other prizes on a day of Arctic conditions saw Liu Yongshun, Baosteel Corp¡¯s Mineral Sourcing Center deputy general manager, win the longest drive prize, and Lin Suofei capture both the best female honor and the nearest the pin.
