Other honors on the day saw Hong Wei capture the nearest-the-pin prize on the West No. 2 hole.

As a trophy and a stuffed toy mascot from next year¡¯s Beijing Olympic Games was awarded to the top two players in each of the categories, Silport general manager Jack Huang took to the stage and congratulated all of the winners, players and sponsors involved.

He announced that a special ¡°Parent and Child¡± tournament would take place at the club on December 9 and all the players were invited to participate. The Silport Junior Championship was co-sponsored by the June Yao Group, Asian Golf Monthly and Sina.com.
