AUDI TAKES LUXURY MARKETING ACTIVITIES TO NEW LEVEL WITH SILPORT PROMOTION

 

Shanghai: Audi put its customers firmly in the driver seat when the luxury automaker held an extensive promotion for its new A8L ¨C the long-wheelbase version of its popular A8 sedan ¨C over a four-day period at Silport.

The Audi team arrived at the club on April 22 and started construction of a large luxury showroom to showcase six A8L models. The 4.2-litre engine vehicles are 12.7 centimeters longer than the standard A8 and provide greater legroom in the rear seat. The cars also have revised suspension and steering, as well as exterior changes.

With the makeshift showroom in place, the automaker then entertained 15 targeted guests over the next four days. The guests, each of whom who was provided with an instructor from the Shanghai Silport David Leadbetter Golf Academy, were then divided into three groups ¨C either to play golf on the North and West layouts, to receive some instruction at the range or to test drive the cars.

Following each day¡¯s activities, the guests were then invited to a dinner party with entertainment provided by a live band. Audi officials explained the extensive promotion was undertaken to thank its customers who supported the company and had a true passion for driving their A8L sedans.
