VIP CUSTOMERS, PARTNERS KEY FOCUS OF SEB INVITATIONAL

 

Shanghai: SEB welcomed the key customers and partners of its Shanghai branch to Silport when the Sweden-based banking giant hosted the SEB Invitational Golf Cup 2008.

Playing over the East and Center course under sunny conditions, Andreas Karlsson proved the dominant player on the day when he shot a 14-over 86 to top the 40-man field. He also won the long-drive prize with a mighty blast on the East course ninth hole. Matts Johansson and Fredrik Ektander finished gross runner-up and second runner-up respectively in a countback, two shots off the pace.

Other honors on the day saw Yuefei Yi win the nett champion prize when the local man, a 20.4 handicap, carded a 93 for a nett 72.6. Marcus Karlsson was nett runner-up (73.2) while Per Brattberg was second nett runner-up (73.4) after shooting an 89.

Carl Christensson, G?ran Anderson, Magnus Prim and Andreas Bjerke each claimed one of the four nearest-the-hole honors.

During the dinner buffet, SEB, a North-European financial group for corporate customers, institutions and private individuals, caught the guestsĄŻ attention with a presentation outlining its 25 years of development in China and around the world.
