Shanghai: The American Chamber of Commerce, a frequent visitor to Silport over the years, brought both the good weather and a charitable spirit to Jiangsu Province when it hosted its sixth annual charity golf tournament.

With the promise the players could experience the same Center and East course configuration that challenged the top European and Asian Tour’s best for the 2007 Volvo China Open, the event attracted a field of 112 players, including AmCham president Brenda Lee Foster, a longtime Silport member.

Playing under a stroke play format, the foursome of Terence Wong, Adrian Or, Clement Ngai and Loo Shi Yann emerged as the champion team, ahead of Kathy McClellan, Rod Nugent, Jay Hoenig and John McClellan.

The nett champion team included Steve Yin, Jeffrey Yin and Kathleen and Kurt Snyder.
