Shanghai: Hu Cheng-gui and Zheng Yao-li proved the star couple at the Silport Best Partner Cup as the dapper duo, clad in yellow, won both the best cooperation and best dressing awards at this fun event held under sunny conditions over the Center and East courses.

With a field of 70 players competing under a Best Ball scoring format, other notables on the day included Nam Jung-eun and his wife and Zhuang Jia Fu and Zheng Yao Li, second and third respectively in the best cooperation.

Chen Zhang Ning and Li Ling Na captured the Best Partner prize, as Lin Long Hui and Chen Zhao Hui and Cui Guang Hui and Eva Zhang were second and third respectively.

Chen Zhang Ning and Eva Zhang were double winners on the day as they also won nearest-the-pin and longest drive prizes respectively. Jin Ya-li claimed the other nearest-the-pin prize when she put her ball to two feet of the pin on the Center Course second hole, while Sun Qiu Sheng claimed a long-drive prize when he unleashed a 250-yard blast on the East Course ninth.

Three hole-in-one offerings with cash prizes ranging from 8,000 RMB to 10,000 RMB went unclaimed.

A memorable prize presentation followed the golf with the winners stepping onto a stage draped in red carpet and festooned with purple and white balloons.
