Tournament Promotes Start-up of Private Enterprises Pavilion

Shanghai: E-house China and China Business News (CBN) showcased the upcoming 2010 Private Enterprises Expo in fine style when it hosted a golf tournament for 106 delegates and media representatives over SilportĄ¯s North and West courses.

Playing in extremely hot weather under overcast skies, Liu Man Tian topped the field when he shot an impressive five-over 77 to claim the gross champion prize under the New Peoria scoring format. Huang Xin Yue was a close runner-up one shot further back, beating Yang Yu Dong in a countback.

Huang Yong Wen won the low nett when the 20.4 handicap shot an 88 for a nett 67.6 score, just ahead of Ao Zhi Guo (nett 69.8). Other prizes went to Liu Jian who claimed the nearest-the-pin when he put his tee shot to within four feet of the flag on the North Course sixth holes, and Li Jian Long who took the longest drive with a 250-yard blast on the West Course ninth hole.

Among the dignitaries present for the tournamentĄ¯s opening ceremony were Mr Sanjun, head of the Private Enterprises Pavilion, and officials from e-house, Tiake Medical, Fuxing Crop and Siemens China, among others.
