Sang Dominates PWC Shanghai Golf Day With Low Gross and Nett Titles

PricewaterhouseCoopers made a welcome return to Silport for the second consecutive year as the accounting giant hosted its guests and VIPs from around the region for its Shanghai Golf Day.

With only 43 players participating in the golf tournament played over the West and North courses, the non-golfers also got a chance to try their hand at the game as Silport David Leadbetter Golf Academy teaching professional Robbie Sherwin provided lessons at the range.

Playing under a New New Peoria scoring format, Sang Wong La proved the dominant player of the day as the 12 handicap shot an 87 to win both the low gross and nett champion honors with a nett 75.

Fanchen Meng finished the low gross runner-up, two shots off the pace, while Jiang Dian was the nett runner-up with a nett 77.

Other recognized included Daniel Zumbrunnen who claimed the BB gross prize with an 89, and Damon Paling, Larry Wang, Jethro Lau and James Gu who each won a Lucky 8 hole.
