 Silport welcomed back an old friend in Huiling Lexus as the luxury auto distributor was returning to the club for a third time to host its namesake fifth invitational golf tournament for their car owners.
Following a welcoming speech by Huiling Lexus vice president Liang Ching Shing, the tournament teed off with a field of 40 players participating over the East and Center courses under a New New Peoria scoring system.
With the weather overcast, the conditions proved ideal for Sun Shen Di as he registered a round of 10-over 82 to emerge the gross champion, beating Shin Jeong-kyo in a countback. Chen Chao Hui was second runner-up, two shots off the pace.
Yang Fang Lin, the only Silport member competing in the tournament, demonstrated the advantages of course knowledge as he finished nett champion with a nett score of 70.2. Cai Juan (nett 71) was runner-up, followed by Su Hao Yi.
The long drive prizes went to Xu Zhan Hong (280 yards) and Shen Bin (250 yards), while Chen Chao Hui and Xu Zhan Hong each claimed a nearest-the-pin honor.
