 Shanghai: October 20th, in the beautiful autumn with the cool weather and the clean sky, the 2011 SGCU charity golf Tournament final round attracted 16 teams from the great Shanghai and over 210 participants came to Shanghai Silport golf club to join the charity golf activity.
After about 4 hours fierce competition, the Southeast China Team and the Ryder Team won the Championship of group A and Group B respectively. Moreover, the Southeast China Team is a new team of 2011 and the Ryder Team is the defending champions, the YingYi Team and the Tianma Team won the Runner-up prizes.
The host provided a wonderful awarding ceremony and started with the song of the charity grantees from the ECNU and the CaoHang Century School. After the commendations to the charity last year, and thanks to the persons, teams, the golf club and the sponsors, the major part ---The charity auction started. The host had collected 17 auction goods from the China famous golfer Zhang Lian wei, Remy Martin, OMEGA, China Eastern Airline, Bank of China, DASHUWUJIE vegetarian restaurant, Sheshan Yuehu Villa, the Lake Malaren golf club.A Chinese handwriting of the word Charity from the famous Hong¡¯ successor with the highest price of 200,000 gained by Mr. Li Shuguang and also it has broken the history record of the SGCU Charity. The auction party had collected totally 1.5316 million for the SGCU Charity plan to improve the poor students¡¯ education condition. As an amateur golf team organization, SGCU Charity Committee had collected over 4.72 millions from 2008, and all use for the education of the disadvantaged groups.
In additions, this tournament is also a preheating of the ¡°Remy Martin?China Charity Rader Cup¡±, which will be held during 7th and 9th of November and players from Shanghai, Beijing, Guangdong will compete home and away. The Shanghai representative team: SGCU Dream Team showed their determination to win the Champion.
