 Shanghai: the 2012 SGCU Charity Golf Tournament final round held at Silport on 17th of Oct. and this was the 5th year. The donations had been over 1.51 million RMB on the Charity Night ceremony, 16 groups from Great Shanghai area£¨Southeast China group£¬Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce group, Water Bay group, Shanghai Airlines Travel group, CEO group, New Hongqiao group, Yuehu Mountain Villa group£¬Yingyi group, Hurricane group, Nine Peak group, Jinhui group, SJTO EMBA group Harimau group, Jieshi group and 3D group£©joined the SGCU and organized the golf event in the name of charity. Qualified events at the beginning of each year and each group will send the top players to join the final round in the middle of October. It was 5 year old and settled at Silport, and the event had grown bigger now, over 250 top players from the 16 groups enjoyed the golf in 2012. The good weather and also the 11 speed of the green made everybody feel excited and challengeable and after about 4 hour fierce competition the Southeast China group defended the championship successfully to be the top 1 of the Group A and Nine Peak group rounded the top 1 of Group B, these two champion team donated 32500 RMB to support the charity night. And every player enjoy the dinner donated from Silport which the club wanted to show the respects to these philanthropists, Mr. Cai Sugang ,the chairman of the Charity group took charge of the charity night and 16 auction objects will find the new owners. The first one is the I phone 5, Beta Soong £¬the CEO of Silport gained the phone with32000 RMB after several times add calls and the whole atmosphere became hotter, followed by the Omega Watch of 2012 Ryder cup, after the MC explained the special background£¬ everyone showed his passion on it and after the crazy calls from 1000 to 200000, finally ,Mr. ChenYing, the chairman of the Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce won the watch with 500000 RMB. All the players moved by the high prize because this is the highest in five year match history and also raised the 1.51 million RMB. In the past five years, SGCU had collected over 6.5 million RMB and at the end of the ceremony, Mr. ChenYing presented this watch as a gift to Mr. Cai Sugang in the name of the 16 groups to show their support on this charity night. All the donated money will use to help the children of the Sichuan earthquake, the children of the poor peasant-worker in Shanghai and the poor students at College as the bursary and help them to do some volunteers and help others.
Beta Soong, the CEO of Silport encouraged the club to join in the charity activities, and it was meaningful to cooperate with the charity organizations to do the charity for the society. And Silport always makes the charities as a goal to pay back to the society.
