 Two days¡¯ golf challenge in this extreme hot weather on 8th and 9th of this August in shanghai was really can be called a heated course battle for those 45 junior golf lovers from different areas of China. All these boys and girls showed the true golf sprits and hero courages at the course of Silport which was named the home of VOLVO China Open, and also many participants just came back from the match in the U.S.A, such as Gao Meiqi, Ye Lei, Cao Yijing,Wu Suowei, Lu Jingwen from Shanghai and Bao Zheng from Nan jing. The 36 holes competition in these two days announced the top list as followed:
Boys: Group A (aged 15-19), Champion winner was Wu Suowei (score:80-81) from Shanghai; Frist runner-up winner was Wang Enzhou (score:82-79) from Shanghai and Second runner-up winner was Kevin Ying ( score 79-81) from the U.S.A Group B (aged 10-14) top three winners were Bao Zheng (score 76-76) from Nanjing, Yu Yanhao(score 80-74)from H.K.and Cheng XIrong£¨score 81-75£©from Shanghai. Group C(aged under 9),top three winners were Ye Zicheng (score 103-99)from Shanghai, Pan Ziyi £¨score100-103£©from Shanghai and Di Xiangguo£¨score 102-109£©from Zhengzhou of Henan Province.
Girls: Group A (aged 15-18)Champion winner was Song Yilin (score:75-77) from Shanghai; Frist runner-up winner was Gao Meiqi (score:79-82) from Shanghai and Second runner-up winner was Yu Xinyun( score 89-74) from Shanghai. Group B (aged 10-14) top three winners were Ye Lei (score 78-72) from Shanghai, Zhu Wenqi(score 80-75)from Shanghai and Cheng Yiqing£¨score 82-79£©from Shanghai. Group C(aged under 9),top three winners were Zhu Yurun (score 85-90)from Shanghai, Wang Jiayi £¨score99-87£©from Shanghai and Fu Jiabao£¨score 100-107£©from Shanghai. Hank Haney, the former coach of the top golf player Tiger Woods came to the invitation on 9th, not only followed the whole match and interacted with the players but also shared many ¡°hows¡± on golf as how to practice golf, how to play golf in good psychology condition and how to achieve own goals step by step in the golf sport. Had been taught over 200 pro golfer of various tours, now Hank Haney has not be the coach of the pros but he wants to share the experience of the pro player to these Chinese young players from the golf training, physical fitness£¬the psychology training ,nutrition care, the strategy of match and also the study. Helped them growing up in a perfect training and education environment of golf sport. He believed there must be word famous golf players from Asia in the future after many times communication with these Asia young players and the players of China must be an important position among them.
